Revere’s Pete Nance Commits To Play At Northwestern

Revere has another Nance headed to play college basketball.

On Thursday, rising senior Pete Nance announced on Twitter that he had committed to Northwestern.

Nance, 6-foot-8, 180 lbs., also had offers from Florida, Michigan, Ohio State and West Virginia among others. He is a four-star prospect, the No. 64 prospect in the country and the No. 2 player in Ohio according to 247Sports.com.

His commitment continues the long lineage of Nances who have had success in basketball.

Pete’s older brother, Larry Nance Jr., played at Wyoming and was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2016 NBA Draft. He is averaging 6.3 points per game for his career in the NBA.

Pete’s father, Larry Nance, played 12 seasons in the NBA, including his final six full seasons with the Cavaliers. He has his number hanging from the rafters at Quicken Loans Arena.
